Terms of Service
Last updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StockSteer website and the free allocation diagnosis service (together, the "Service"), operated by Vidgenix Limited ("StockSteer", "we", "us"). By using the Service — including by submitting a sales data file — you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
1. What the Service is
StockSteer provides inventory allocation analysis for multi-channel e-commerce sellers. During our pre-launch period, the Service consists of a free, human-checked "allocation diagnosis": you send us a sales history file, and we return a report with channel-by-channel coverage figures, stock-movement suggestions, and risk warnings. The diagnosis is free of charge and creates no obligation on either side.
The Service is advisory and read-only. StockSteer does not modify listings, inventory quantities, orders, or any other data in your commerce platforms.
2. Eligibility
The Service is for business use. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the business whose data you submit. You are responsible for having the right to share the data you send us.
3. Your data
- You own your data. Files you submit remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them solely to produce and discuss your diagnosis and to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- No personal data. You agree to remove customer personal data (names, addresses, emails, phone numbers) from files before submitting them. If personal data is included regardless, we will delete it and it is excluded from any license above.
- Deletion. You can request deletion of your submitted files at any time by emailing liu_ky@hisuntech.com.
4. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees
This is the part to actually read. The diagnosis and any StockSteer output are informational suggestions based on the historical data you provide. They are estimates, not promises about future sales, and not professional, financial, or legal advice.
- All inventory decisions — including whether, when, and how much stock to move — are yours alone.
- Outcomes depend on factors outside our analysis: data accuracy and completeness, demand shifts, platform policy changes, logistics delays, and more.
- We show the arithmetic behind every recommendation precisely so you can judge it before acting on it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: submit data you have no right to share; submit malicious files; attempt to probe, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service; use the Service to build a competing dataset or service; or misrepresent StockSteer's outputs as your own analysis when reselling services to third parties.
6. Intellectual property
The Service — including the website, report formats, methodology, and software — is owned by StockSteer and its licensors. Your diagnosis report is yours to use freely within your business. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.
7. Third-party platforms
StockSteer is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc. or Amazon.com, Inc. "Shopify" and "Amazon" are trademarks of their respective owners. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them.
Where the Service connects to Amazon, StockSteer operates as an Amazon SP-API solution provider under the Amazon API Services Developer Agreement and handles Amazon data in accordance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, as described in our Privacy Policy. Connections are read-only and authorized by you through Amazon's official OAuth flow; you may revoke authorization at any time in Seller Central, after which we delete Amazon-sourced data within 30 days. Shopify connections follow the equivalent Shopify API terms, with read-only scopes and minimal protected-customer-data access.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its outputs will produce any particular business result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StockSteer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost inventory value, stockouts, oversells, storage fees, or platform account actions, arising from or related to the Service — even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify StockSteer against claims arising from data you submitted without the right to do so, or from your breach of these Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data. We may suspend or refuse the Service (including declining to produce a diagnosis) at our discretion — for example, where data is insufficient to support responsible recommendations. Sections 3–10 survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves — in particular when the full product launches. We will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you by email where we have it. Continued use after changes take effect is acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong.
